Our Memory Care and Assisted Living Staff

ComfortCare Homes® employs a wide variety of qualified assisted living staff to meet the needs of our Residents.  From our nursing team to the CareGivers that provide all the daily care, we are proud to have the best team possible to care for your loved-one.

We employ both Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs). These professionals often play the role of Home Supervisors, managing the care of Residents in the home. This team is overseen by our Director of Resident Care.

Assisted Living CareGivers:

The majority of our assisted living CareGivers are Certified Medication Aides (CMAs); however, we do hire Certified Nursing Aides (CNAs) when appropriate. The CareGivers in our Homes tend to the daily care of our Residents, including assistance with all ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as the Resident requires, cooking meals, activities with support of activities staff and much more. Our CareGivers are the Rock Stars of ComfortCare Homes.

Activities Staff:

We employ a variety of assisted living professionals to create and implement activities that meet the appropriate stimulation needs of our Residents. This includes a full time Activities Director who oversees a variety of staff and volunteers. Everyone at ComfortCare Homes has a responsibility to support the daily quality of life for our Residents. In our Homes any interaction can be an activity including a casual conversation about the day over a cup of coffee.

Additional Skilled Care:

Additional skilled care is provided through our Caring Partnerships.  We work closely with various home health, hospice and other health care providers to bring as many services to the Resident as possible.

About Us

“The CareGivers clearly care about the Residents and are actively involved.  Keeping the same CareGivers is crucial.”
